Jackie has delivered a range of personal, staff and management development courses for University Campus Suffolk over the last 2 years. More recently Jackie has supported the University in one to one coaching for personal and professional development. Jackie provides an excellent service from initial screening of development needs to full evaluation. She takes the time to explore the issues both at a corporate and individual level and provides regular communication regarding the progress of aims and objectives. I have booked Jackie for a programme of events in the coming year.

Over a period of time Jackie has delivered a number of workshops for our volunteer Trainers. The topics covered have included subjects such as mentoring and coaching, behaviour breeds behaviour, communication skills etc. Additionally Jackie has facilitated sessions on Inclusion for our volunteers ranging from local leaders through to members of our main committees Jackie has always achieved her aims and objectives, received excellent evaluations from the participants and delivered sessions that meet the business needs of the organisation. She has a facilitative method of delivery which is well received by the participants. The sessions are always a balance of theoretical input, discussion and activities which enables the participants to explore a topic in detail, be challenged to consider the learning points and make action plans of how they will use the learning either as Trainers working to develop local leaders in their work with girls and young women. Jackie is passionate about the work of Girlguiding UK and has a good understanding of the needs of our 80,000 volunteer leaders. Her sessions are always well prepared and delivered and support our statement of purpose “Girlguiding UK enables girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world”
Liz Smith, Head of Guiding Develoment, Girlguiding UK Jackie Clifford has worked with IPCC for a number of years across a range of projects, including the development of our externally accredited training programme for complaint management staff. Jackie and her colleagues have also been instrumental in developing our own internal training capability which has enabled IPCC to introduce a range of specialist training courses using our own resources, thereby reducing our training spend, improving participant satisfaction and increased transfer of learing into the workplace. Jackie Clifford's excellent facilitation of a round table event for Girlguiding UK allowed participants to think creatively and identify the key outcomes required in designing a strategy to meet the Learning and Development needs of over 80,000 adult volunteers and ensure excellent programme delivery for over half a million young members.
Jackie is a volunteer member of Girlguiding UK’s Guiding development committee making a valuable contribution with her innovative and creative training methods, Jackie has brought a wealth of experience and expertise to Girlguiding UK, she has led the group and coordinated the multiple strands of work with skill and understanding. Jackie has acted as a critical friend to the group often challenging thinking and perceptions but always with care for the individual and in the spirit and values of guiding.
Jackie's approach allowed individuals to identify new opportunities and to challenge previous thinking. In leading the group she always allowed ideas to be fully explored and developed ensuring appropriate actions were identified and carried out. The calm approach Jackie adopted in leading the group generated mutual understand and respect and ensured maximum motivation and enthusiasm from members.
It has been a delight to work with Jackie, she has shared her knowledge and expertise freely allowing other to develop skills and talents and to think more creatively, Girlguiding UK has benefited hugely from working with Jackie in developing an organisation wide learning and development strategy which will leave a lasting legacy.
